“It’s new,” she said,

I kinda like it.
I made this music for you.”

I saw the sky turn pink
With the light behind your hair
Caressing everything
Held my stomach and stood there
Impressionistic
Like a painting of the cross
Found me at an utter loss

“He hates a coward more than...
